Imagine, after Loki and a former lover of his are reunited, through a series of strange events, the two of them are rescued from a rough situation by a woman of unknown origins and taken to a planet even Loki has never heard of. There, Loki finds himself once again treated like royalty and she the same, though she is hardly used to it. The people there stare at them in wonder and adoration and treat them with the utmost respect, any wish they have being granted. Loki, of course, eats it all up and tells her to do the same. After a talk with her, though, he does begin to wonder about the odd behaviour. The two confront the woman who saved them and she explains that it is believed that they are the reincarnations of the planets former rulers. The woman goes on to tell them the story of how the two rulers met and came to love each other, the planet prosperous like never before under their combined rule and powerful magic before they met their untimely end when they were murdered in their sleep. 

Loki and his lover are shocked to hear this, but cannot deny that they look nearly identical to the statues of the former rulers set up all over the palace they have been staying in. The people want their rightful rulers back on the throne and to have them regain their power, of course, but they must first prove they indeed the reincarnations through a series of gruelling trials as many have come forward in the past only to be liars. Reluctantly separated again for the purpose of the trials, they begin to wonder if they can even survive them so they can be reunited permanently.

Imagine you’re best friends with Loki you are his most trusted adviser, and confidant you notice lately that he’s been acting strange, you confront him about it and he tells you he’s in love but won’t tell you with who. One day you’re walking down the hall and you hear noises coming from his room, as you walk closer you realize he’s moaning something, at first you can’t make it out but when it becomes louder you realize it’s Thor’s name, you walk away blushing and the next day you tell him you’ve heard him, he denies it and says he has no idea what you’re talking about. You then repeat some of the things he’s moaned and he tells you not to tell anyone, you then try and get him to tell Thor how he feels.

Imagine, the events of the Ragnarok scenario are really only part of a strange collective dream.  Wanda denies all responsibility.

Imagine instead of Black Widow, you walk into the room where Loki is being held wearing something but a trench coat. He asks you what is this strange attire? You then give him a knowing smirk and take it off to reveal a corset in his colors he then waves his hand and you’re in the cell making love to him while all agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. can hear you and when you’re done you wonder why are they all looking at you funny?

Imagine accidentally sending your fanfic to Loki over email, because the person you were intending to send it to had a Loki inspired email id, very similar to his own (gifted to him by Tony Stark when he joined the Avengers). He opens the strange email and then reads the document attached. And then he seeks you out.

Imagine being scared of elevators. You always use the stairs, but there’s an emergency and you’re forced to use the elevator. Loki always found your avoidance of them strange, and now, seeing you freaked out, he finally realizes what’s going on and tries to comfort you in his own distant, awkward way. Warming up to him, you grab his hand in reassurance. After getting out, you apologize, and he tells you he didn’t mind. From then on you start riding the elevator more often, but only when he’s there with you to hold your hand.

Imagine being a Goddess who spends life on Midgard amongst the mortals and Loki finding it strange yet adorable. So he decides to stay himself and build a life with you.

Imagine Loki getting hurt badly, so you give him painkillers in an attempt to help them. He tells you they won’t work of him because of his different biology, so you give him too much and accidentally overdose him. The result is him acting weird and saying strange things, and you’re forced to call Bruce and beg him to come over and help Loki.

Imagine Loki preparing a strange humor potion. If it is drunk, it makes you develop the strongest sentiment you can feel for the first person you see. However, something with his experiment goes wrong and he passes out as he inadvertently drinks some drops of it. The first person he sees as he wakes is… you. His beloved wife.

Imagine Loki senses how strangely you have been acting around him, and you refuse to tell him what is going on when he asks. Loki, being the trickster that he is, disguises himself as your confidant to get an explanation from you. He ends up finding out that you have a crush on him and are worried that your feelings for him will ruin your friendship. Realising the person in front of you is actually Loki, you become embarrassed and flustered but only to have Loki calm you down with gentle kisses…and his silver tongue.
